Rising from the back yards of Okaloosa County, Florida, HERITAGE broke into the pop/reggae scene in 2009 with their debut album, Natural High. This album mixes Tony Verecchia's easily digested vocals and the fluidity of Damien Kealoha’s vibrant ukulele sound to produce an effort bursting at the seams with ultra-catchy originals. With standout tracks like "Broken Pieces," already certified platinum in their family households and local friends, Heritage can count on an abundance of future success. Formed in 2007, starting with three guys in a backyard with a ukulele and a set of bongos, they played just for fun with family and friends. Before they knew it, they were performing locally. With the addition of Hunter Dawson, a guitarist with a rock/alternative style, hip-hop drummer, RJ Hernandez, reggae-influenced bassist, Matt Moore, and latin/pop percussionist, Dave Posey, they bring both a flavor and appeal to the masses.

Wade McVey, more commonly known as "Barefoot Wade", has played well over 1000 shows in his career. He regularly travels from West Virginia to Key West and the Caribbean doing energetic shows and entertaining diverse crowds. He has released two full albums independently, and has had countless magazine and newspaper articles written about him as well as several radio and television interviews. He is also currently recording shows for an upcoming live album.

Musical Diversity: The barefoot musician has best been described as a "One-Man-Caribbean-Jam-Band". On stage, Wade employs the use of Acoustic and Electric guitars, Bass guitars, Steel Drum, lots of various Percussion, Keyboards, and Kazoos. He is able to play these instruments simultaneously through a process known as "Loop Sampling". This gives the aural illusion that there is more than one musician jamming on stage. His musical style combines elements of Reggae, Rock, Americana and Comedic Country blended into his own original sound.

Sharing the Stage: Barefoot Wade has opened up for a wide range of national acts. Some of these include David Allan Coe, Molly Hatchet, beach bands like The Band of OZ and Embers, along with several of the bigger jam bands like Lotus, Ekoostic Hookah, DJ Williams Project, Purple Schoolbus and the side bands of String Cheese Incident and The Disco Biscuits. Entertaining a crowd comes naturally to him and he always manages to make the audience feel that they are an important part of the performance as well.

Biography:

BALLYHOO! has been touring the country nonstop for the past couple of years, spreading their music from coast to coast. With over 100,000 tracks sold, the band has become a staple for a scene that loves to party.

With their latest record “Cheers!” (out on Surfdog Records in May 2009), the guys are once again hitting the road hard to support it. “We’ve been playing for so long, it’d be weird to stop now. Our last album ‘Do It For The Money!’ has really opened a lot of doors for us and has spread like wildfire in the underground,” says front man Howi Spangler. The band looks forward to getting back on the road to rock the new songs for the core fans. “The new record’s got rock, reggae, acoustic and even some power ballads!” READ MORE
